Each batch is tied to a lot number and its own certificate of analysis, and certificates are archived by lot, so the documentation stays available after a batch sells through.

Purity is stated on the certificate for each individual lot, never as a blanket figure. The number that matters is the one on your batch’s certificate.

Every batch carries its own paperwork
A certificate of analysis is issued for one lot and describes only the batch its sample came from. That is why lot numbers appear on the vial, on the product record and in the archive: the number is the link between the material and the document for it.
